After winning the toss, Sri Lanka decided to bat first. However, the rain caused a 40-minute delay in the start of the game.

With all of their wickets down, Sri Lanka scored 50 runs in 15.2 overs.

Jasprit Bumrah made the breakthrough during the first inning of the championship game with his third ball.

In his third over, Mohammed Siraj picked up five wickets, which helped Sri Lanka lose.

Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill started India's innings, and they both successfully chased down the score with a record 263 balls remaining.

He hit a full toss from Pathirana for a six and guided India to a 10-wicket victory in just six overs.
